Your Contract with Leaf Lane Studio

When you place an order with Leaf Lane Studio ('I, we, our or us') it is subject to the terms and conditions stated at the time you place your order. We reserve the right to change and/or amend these terms and conditions at any time. As soon as any changes are placed onto www.leaflanestudio.com ('the website') they immediately come into effect. Please ensure that you read the full terms and conditions when you visit the website, as your continued use of the website signifies that you accept them. If you have questions or are unsure of anything within the terms and conditions or on the website, please contact Leaf Lane Studio on hello@leaflanestudio.com before placing an order. If there are any amendments to the terms and conditions, specific to your order, they must be agreed in writing.

Order process, deposit and payment

When you agree to purchase wedding products and/or services from Leaf Lane Studio you will be sent an order summary, outlining the full cost of your order. Once this has been approved by you, you will receive an invoice, by email, representing 50% of the total cost of the order. This is a non-refundable deposit which you are required to pay to confirm your order. By doing this you are entering into a binding contract with Leaf Lane Studio and are confirming that you agree with the terms and conditions. As soon as the 50% deposit is paid, work on your stationery will begin. You will be sent an invoice for the remaining payment as soon as you have signed off the artwork, which will be emailed to you for your approval and must be signed and returned (scanned / photographed and emailed back). It is your responsibility to check the artwork thoroughly for spelling and details before signing it off. Once you have signed for the artwork it will be sent to print. Once with the printers, nothing can be altered and, if you need to change something at that point, you will be liable for further payment. Please note that no stationery will go to print if the second payment has not been made.

Pricing

Occasionally Leaf Lane Studio pricing may need to be adjusted but the website will always show the most up to date prices. Other than the additional cost of postage, all prices you see online are what you will pay, there are no hidden costs. If you are purchasing wedding stationery, you will receive a fully itemised order summary before you make any payment, which will breakdown all costs for you clearly and transparently. 

Deadlines and Shipping Estimates

When you order from Leaf Lane Studio, we will discuss an estimated time-scale for your stationery. Please allow enough time, when ordering wedding stationery, to allow for design work and for your art work to be emailed to you, checked and approved before going to print. Occasionally there are circumstances beyond our control, that will prevent a deadline being met, but you will be regularly informed and contacted on the rare occasion this may occur. In the case of U.K or international shipping, Leaf Lane Studio cannot be held responsible for any issues or delays caused by the carrier. For details on shipping costs please click here.

International Shipping

International shipping is quoted on an individual basis. Please contact Leaf Lane Studio on hello@leaflanestudio.com for a quote (you must know the approximate numbers of what you would be ordering). Any customs fees / import tax incurred during the shipping process is your responsibility and must be paid by you in full. Leaf Lane Studio is not responsible for any delays caused by customs.

Copyright and Ownership

You will become the owner of all physical products produced for you, once full payment has been received, however you will not own the artwork created for the design process. The ownership and copyright of the artwork will always belong to Leaf Lane Studio. You must not reproduce, share or use the designs for any other purpose than those outlined in your initial order.

Refunds, Cancellations or Returns

Due to the vast majority of Leaf Lane Studios products being personalised and made to order, they cannot be returned. Products will never leave Leaf Lane Studio damaged or faulty, therefore if they arrive to you in a poor condition, such as damage that may have occurred whilst being shipped, please contact hello@leaflanestudio.com within 10 days to discuss whether this situation can be put right. If you would like to request a refund for faulty or damaged goods, please return them and you will receive a refund of the second invoice only (50% of total amount).

Limitaion of Liability

Please be aware that Leaf Lane Studio can accept no liability for damaged or faulty goods if you do not make us aware within 10 days of receipt. We cannot be held responsible for any loss, costs or damages, whether direct or indirect, no matter how they occur (including loss of business or damage to business relationships) resulting from any of the following: inaccuracies or errors of content on the website, transmission of viruses, bugs or similar, which may be spread to or through the website by a third party, the unauthorised access to, or use of our system and/or any and all personal data stored on it and any downtime on the website itself.

Third Parties

According to the Contacts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999, this contract does not give any person who is not a party to it any right to enforce its terms.

Invalidity and Jurisdiction

In the event that any part of these terms and conditions is deemed unforceable (including any clause in which we exclude our liability to you) this will not affect the enforceability of any other part of these terms. This contract is governed by British law and is subject only to the jurisdiction of the British courts.
