Happy New Year to you all! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and are feeling as excited as I am for 2018 and what the year will bring!
As I scrolled through my Instagram feed over the festive period I loved seeing so many people sharing pictures of their engagement rings and telling the story of how their loved ones proposed to them. I saw images of snow-covered scenes, with couples wrapped up in hats and scarves, pictures of nervous guys, down on one knee, under pretty fairy lights, and one gorgeous picture of a dog carrying a bauble with 'will you marry my daddy' written on a piece of paper inside it. There is something about seeing people in love, totally lost in the magic of that single moment of their lives that is so beautiful.
If you are one of these people, who said 'yes', then many heartfelt congratulations from me to you! This is where the fun really begins! Have you bought yourself all the wedding magazines yet? (I bet you have!). Whether you want a more intimate occasion, or something much more extravagant, you have quite a few things to think about, but it doesn't have to be overwhelming! You just need to give yourself enough time and space to make decisions and really think things through based on what you and your partner really want, and this is where I can help!
I have created my 'Wedding Planning Checklist' for you to print off at home and keep handy as you go through the planning experience. Even if you are choosing to invest in a wedding planner, my guide will help you think about all the details you may like to discuss with them and will also help you to decide the things that aren't for you too.
I think it is super important, when planning any event, to be led by intuition; if you look at something and you know it doesn't sit right with you, then don't have it as part of your day (remember that it is your day!). In contrast, if you look at something within the checklist which really 'lights you up' then investigate it and pop some little ideas in a notebook (more on mood boards and wedding planning books are at the start of the checklist too!).
If you would like to get your copy of my 'Wedding Planning Checklist' sent directly to your email inbox just CLICK RIGHT HERE (please note that certain email providers, such as outlook and hotmail, may send my email to your 'junk' folder, so if you are not seeing it then please double check there).
I hope you like the freebie and it is useful to you! For signing up to receive it you will also be sent a free Wedding Stationery Guide too (which will come to your Inbox just a couple of days later) just as a thank you from me to you for downloading my planning guide!
Don't forget to order your wedding stationery samples in plenty of time too, to see all of my collections (more to be added in 2018) just click here!
